JESUS ERASES WHAT THE ENEMY DEFACES
THE WORD “GRAFFITI” means to be scratched or etched.” Graffiti can be found in every language, everywhere. Sometimes it’s just a tag for somebody to write their name. Other times distinctive graffiti marks off the territory of a gang. Even corporations have gotten into the act, hiring artists to write their names in graffiti.
God created you in the His image for self-fulfillment, but the Enemy wants to write across you the graffiti of self-destrucution. Right now, however, Jesus can erase what he Enemy has defaced in you because there is power in His unfailing Word and mighty name. Just as He did with the Gadarene demoniac, the Lord well cleanse you and restore the identity He originally gave you when you humbly confess your sin.
