TURNED ON THE WHEEL, FIXED IN THE FIRE
THAT WHEEL SPINNING us round and round under the Potter’s hand represents the unpredictable circumstances of the days of our lives. Sometimes the wheel spins us around ecstasy and celebration, but the other times it spins us around depression and deep despair. We’re afraid our lives that are spinning out of our control will break us. Yet these very circumstances God will use to make us.
But then after spinning circumstances on the wheel of our lives, He fixes them within the fire of our trials. Some of you are experiencing physical, vocational, and domestic fires now and wondering why. Like the pottery that’s only useful when it’s strengthened through firing, until we are fixed in the fire, we are useless to serve Him and others.
