GIVING GOD A REASON TO LIVE ANOTHER YEAR

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE whether you live or die? Other than your friends, relatives, and acquaintances who will be heartbroken by your absence, what difference will you really make? What is your reason for wanting to live another year? Today, if you could appeal before God for another year, what would be your reason for living?

What is your reason for hanging around here? Can God, when He hears you pray, say, “There is sincerity on those lips”? Can God speak of you integrity? That is, do you act the same way in public as you do in private? Can God depend on you when He cannot depend on those around you? You can give God grounds for for giving you more time to live.

See then that you walk cirecumspectfully, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
