BREAKOUT FROM DOUBT

JUST AS CHRISTIAN in Pilgrim’s Progress is thrown into the dungeon of Doubting Castle where Despair lives, many of us are also living in that depressing place where we have lost our joy and song. When we’re physically exhausted, socially isolated, or emotionally rejected, it will certainly discourage our faith in God.

But the good news is that we don’t have to stay there. We must first send ourselves to Jesus when we doubt. HE only and always gives faith. He is the source of love, power, and a sound mind. Moreover, Jesus will do whatever it takes to give us the evidence we need to live free of doubt. We can escape Doubting Castle by unlocking its door with the key of His Word.

“For assuredly, i say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
